Arc Flash StepWise® Single Leg Lanyard (CM0175A)
The Tech Safety Lines Arc Flash StepWise® Single Leg Lanyard is a UL-certified fall-arrest lanyard designed for workers exposed to electrical and arc-flash hazards. Unlike a conventional fall-arrest lanyard, the patented StepWise® incorporates a built-in webbed ladder that gives a suspended worker an immediate foothold after a fall, helping relieve harness pressure while awaiting rescue or preparing for self-rescue.
Why It's Used
Arresting a fall is only the first part of protecting a worker at height. After a fall, a worker may remain suspended in their harness while waiting for rescue, creating additional risk from prolonged suspension.
The StepWise® gives the suspended worker a built-in foothold, creating a place of refuge that allows them to stand and relieve full-body harness pressure. An integrated rescue ring also allows the lanyard to work with the SRK-15® Micro Rescue Kit, providing a connection point for a trained worker to transition from fall arrest into self-rescue.

Compatibility
The Arc Flash StepWise® Single Leg Lanyard includes an aluminum rescue ring designed for use with the SRK-15® Micro Rescue Kit. Together, the systems provide a trained worker with the ability to transition from fall arrest into controlled self-rescue.

The lanyard can also be paired with the Arc Flash D-Ring Extender. The 18 in. extender is designed specifically for use with the 4.5 ft Arc Flash StepWise® to create a 6 ft total length and provide easier access to the dorsal harness connection.
