3 ft. StepWise® Rope Access Lanyard (CM0158A)
The Tech Safety Lines 3 ft. StepWise® Rope Access Lanyard is a compact fall-arrest lanyard designed for rope access and work-at-height applications where post-fall support and self-rescue capability are critical. Its patented built-in webbed ladder provides a suspended worker with an immediate foothold after a fall, while an integrated rescue connection allows the lanyard to interface with the SRK-15® Micro Rescue Kit.
Why It's Used
Fall arrest stops the fall, but it does not automatically resolve the worker's suspension afterward. The StepWise® addresses that next stage by incorporating a webbed ladder directly into the lanyard, giving the suspended worker a foothold to stand on and helping relieve full-body harness pressure while awaiting rescue.
For trained workers equipped with the SRK-15®, the integrated rescue connection also provides a pathway from fall arrest to controlled self-rescue when the site-specific rescue plan permits.

When used together by a properly trained worker, the StepWise® provides post-fall support and a rescue connection while the SRK-15® provides controlled-descent capability for self-rescue.
