STUDSON® SHK-1 Non-Vented Safety Helmet
The STUDSON® SHK-1 Non-Vented Safety Helmet is a Type II, Class E industrial safety helmet designed for workers exposed to impact and electrical hazards. Its fully sealed shell is rated for electrical environments up to 20,000 volts, while Koroyd® impact technology, Twiceme® NFC emergency identification, and a Fidlock® 4-point chin strap combine advanced protection with all-day jobsite functionality.
Why It's Used
Traditional industrial head protection may primarily address impacts from above, while technicians working at height, around structures, or near electrical hazards can face impacts from multiple directions.
The SHK-1 Non-Vented provides Type II protection for top, front, side, and rear impacts while its sealed Class E shell provides electrical protection for environments where conductive hazards are present. Integrated emergency-information technology also gives first responders quick access to worker-provided emergency information when needed.
