PMI® Rope Tech Gloves
PMI® Rope Tech Gloves are lightweight protective gloves designed for rope handling, rigging, belaying, knot tying, and other technical rope work where both hand protection and dexterity matter. A synthetic-leather base provides flexibility and grip, while cowhide reinforcement protects high-wear areas across the palm and fingers.
Why It's Used
Technical rope work requires technicians to maintain grip and tactile control while protecting their hands from the repeated friction and abrasion associated with rope handling.
PMI® Rope Tech Gloves balance protection with dexterity so technicians can manipulate rope, tie knots, operate hardware, and perform rigging tasks without the bulk of a heavier glove. Reinforcement is concentrated at high-wear areas while stretch material across the back and fingers improves mobility and breathability.

Important: PMI® Rope Tech Gloves are not designed for fast-rope or body-rappel techniques. Select hand protection appropriate for the specific rope application.
Compatibility
PMI® Rope Tech Gloves are designed for general technical rope handling and can be used alongside compatible rope-access, rescue, fall-protection, and rigging equipment.
Glove size should be selected according to hand circumference and length. PMI recommends measuring around the widest part of the knuckles for circumference and from the wrist crease to the tip of the longest finger for hand length.
If hand length exceeds the maximum listed for a size, select the next larger glove size.
