HEK® Hole Extraction Kit

The Tech Safety Lines HEK® Hole Extraction Kit is a configurable assisted-rescue system designed to lift a casualty from a hole, opening, or below-grade work area. Using a 3:1 mechanical-advantage haul system with captured progress, the HEK® helps trained rescuers raise and recover an incapacitated worker while adapting to the specific requirements of the work environment.

Why It's Used

A worker who falls or becomes incapacitated below the working surface can present a difficult rescue challenge, particularly when access is limited and the casualty must be raised vertically to safety.

The HEK® provides mechanical advantage to help rescuers lift the casualty while captured progress helps maintain the load gained during hauling. Because access points, anchorage, rescue distances, and work environments vary, the HEK® can be configured around the requirements of the organization's rescue plan and worksite.

Key Features

  • Designed for casualty extraction from holes and below-grade work areas
  • 3:1 mechanical-advantage haul system
  • Captured progress during lifting

Compatibility

The HEK® is a configurable rescue system rather than a single fixed equipment package.
