Retrieve an incapacitated worker from inside a wind turbine blade — safely, efficiently, and without delay.

The BEK is purpose-built for one of the most challenging rescue scenarios in wind energy: extracting a disabled worker from deep within a horizontal blade back to the hub. Every component is pre-assembled and ready to deploy, so rescuers can focus on the worker, not the equipment.

  • 4:1 Pre-Assembled Haul System — Sealed, high-efficiency pulleys manage the full weight of an incapacitated worker with minimal effort
  • 37-Meter Tag Rope — Attached to the worker upon blade entry and used as the retrieval line to guide them back to the hub
  • Complete & Ready to Deploy — All necessary components included for extraction of an unconscious worker from a horizontally positioned blade

Tech Safety Lines ("TSL") exclusively sells its patented equipment to individuals who have successfully completed an approved TSL training program. Authorized training may be completed through any of the following:

  • Directly from a TSL-certified instructor;
  • Through a TSL-authorized Train-the-Trainer instructor, for the purpose of internal employee training within the instructor's employing organization; or
  • Through a licensed third-party training provider.

(Each of the above is referred to herein as an "Authorized Instructor.")

Wallet Card Policy: Wallet cards are non-transferable and are valid solely for the employee and employer listed thereon. Wallet cards may not be used across organizations or transferred from one employer to another.
