Petzl® ASAP® LOCK 2026 Mobile Fall Arrester
The Petzl® ASAP® LOCK 2026 is a drop-resistant mobile fall arrester designed for rope access and professional work-at-height fall protection. It moves freely along the safety rope during normal movement and automatically locks onto the rope in the event of a fall or uncontrolled descent, while the integrated LOCK function allows the device to be immobilized to help reduce potential fall distance.
Why It's Used
Technicians working on rope need a fall-arrest system that follows their movement without requiring constant manual repositioning.
The ASAP® LOCK travels automatically along the safety rope during normal ascent, descent, and movement. If a fall or uncontrolled descent occurs, the device automatically locks onto the rope to arrest the fall.
Its integrated LOCK function allows technicians to limit rope travel through the device, helping reduce potential fall distance when approaching an obstacle or the ground. The LOCK function can also help prevent wind from pulling the safety rope upward and creating unwanted slack.
