Energy absorber for ASAP or ASAP LOCK

The ASAP’SORBER energy absorber is designed for use exclusively with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester. It allows users to work at a safe distance from the rope, helping reduce rope wear during specific work tasks. The internal tear-webbing is enclosed in a durable protective pouch that opens at both ends, protecting the absorber from abrasion while allowing for easy visual inspection. Available in two lengths, the ASAP’SORBER offers the ideal balance between rope clearance and reduced fall distance.

  • Designed for use exclusively with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester
  • Allows the user to maintain distance from the rope to: keep the work area clear, reduce exposure to sharp tools and damaging contact points

Energy Absorption & Safety

  • Integrated tear-webbing energy absorber reduces impact forces in the event of a fall
  • Rated for users weighing between 50–130 kg (110–286 lb)

Durability & Inspection

  • Energy absorber is enclosed in a durable fabric pouch with openings at both ends
  • Pouch protects against abrasion and contaminants while allowing easy visual inspection
  • Connector ends feature STRING positioning system to hold connectors in place and minimize webbing wear
