The Yates Spec Pak is an all-in-one patient packaging and rescue system built for demanding environments where fast and reliable extrication is essential. Combining the functions of a backboard, full-body harness, and lifting system, it provides a compact, streamlined solution for rescuers. Designed for versatility, the Spec Pak performs effectively in confined spaces, vertical rope operations, helicopter hoists, and tactical missions. Its modular construction enables rapid setup and safe, stable transport of patients in both emergency response and military applications.
  • Integrated Harness System: Built-in full-body harness with clearly color-coded straps for quick, intuitive patient securing.
  • Multiple Lifting Points: Four reinforced D-rings — two for vertical and two for horizontal lifts — enable flexible hoisting options.
  • Head Support: Adjustable immobilization blocks and cervical restraints maintain spinal alignment during handling and transport.
  • Leg Support: Detachable, adjustable leg straps provide secure lower-body stabilization and can be quickly released when access is needed.
  • Patient Comfort: Closed-cell foam padding positioned at key contact points enhances comfort and provides buoyancy during water rescues.
  • Compact Storage: Rolls up neatly with built-in carry handles and an included storage bag for efficient transport and rapid deployment.
  • System Compatibility: Integrates seamlessly with most standard lifting bridles, hoist assemblies, and backboard systems.
  • Optional Add-Ons: Flotation collar, hoist bridle, and rigid backboard inserts available for specialized rescue needs.
