Sterling® Stealth Escape Anchor Hook

Sterling® Stealth Escape Anchor Hook

$164.00

A lightweight and versatile fire escape anchor hook for more secure anchoring and lowering.

The next generation escape hook from Sterling, the Stealth Hook delivers enhanced performance in an even lighter, more refined design. Building on the success of the original gated hitching slot—designed for quick, secure remote anchoring—this updated fire escape hook has been re-engineered to be 14% lighter than its predecessor while introducing several functional upgrades.

Forged from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum, the truss-style frame reduces weight without sacrificing strength, making the Stealth Hook the lightest NFPA-rated escape hook on the market, weighing just 170 g (6 oz). A tool-grade stainless steel tip provides improved bite across a variety of anchoring surfaces and can be easily replaced if worn during training. Each tip features dual usable points for extended service life.

Additional design enhancements include a rounded rear radius on the hitching slot for smoother integration into improvised mechanical advantage systems, as well as heel ridges and precision-milled grips that improve handling and help keep the hook secure in hand and at the anchor. A dedicated slot at the top of the hook allows for attachment of a pull tab for easier deployment.

  • Certification: UL Certified to NFPA 2500 (1983)
