Kevlar® EXO™ Rope

  • Kevlar® EXO™ provides an unprecedented combination of strength, flexibility, durability and flame resistance.
  • It delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance, allowing for lighter and more compact systems without sacrificing protection or durability.
  • Its performance and weight are comparable to high-end polyethylene fibers, with the added flexibility and thermal performance of para-aramids.
  • Kevlar® EXO™ is significantly stronger than legacy Kevlar®, with increased tenacity, modulus and elongation that produce a substantially improved strength-to-weight ratio.
  • It is inherently flame- and temperature-resistant and does not melt.
  • Its decomposition temperature is approximately 525°C, or 977°F.
  • These properties make Kevlar® EXO™ particularly valuable for military, aerospace, fire-rescue and other extreme operating environments.
